Reading your work aloud to an audience in bookshops, writers’ groups, literary festivals etc – for writers, it’s a great way to get yourself and your work known to the world. My morning workshop for Hove Writers introduced techniques to help them beat nerves and build confidence, look and sound their best and captivate and keep audience attention and interest.
What they’re saying
‘Your workshop about speaking well at Hove Library was so good, it was what we all needed … everyone was happy, they learned and enjoyed the practice … that paragraph about what the audience wants is like a bible to always have in mind. I also liked to receive the tongue twisters and it was fun to try it … it will be lovely if you can come again and give us some text to practice.’
Julia Martínez
